When I joined the Sedition Alliance Khell was the first Canadian I met. Our first fleet together was a ‘Black Tie Affair’ on New Years Eve. This was an event Khell’s group hosts each Tuesday night. They generously provide ships to anyone who wants to join. This is very unusual in Eve and spoke to their generous and inclusive nature.
We undocked short range battlecruisers and began looking for targets. Our first fight was a brawl with some Wild Geese (a group of capable PVPers) who were flying short range battleships. There is a great irony that two canucks who played the same game for nearly 20 years finally came together to shoot geese. We knocked each and every one out of the sky and went on to have some more great scraps that evening. It was a great way to ring in the new year.
In a game full of greedy pirates, bittervets, and several completely deranged people Khell was a breath of fresh air. He was immediately one of my favourite people in our alliance .. the warmth and strength of his character was apparent to all who knew him.
