Without the people, the game would be little more than a collection of bad GUIs, spreadsheets, and probability graphs.
Khellendros stood out as a giant amongst men and women. The sometimes gruff exterior hid someone who would give you the shirt off his back. Whether it was talking PvP, industry, or, out of game activities like politics, other games, or any other subject you care to imagine, he was always there to contribute.
Most folks expect in-game memories from people who post here, but we chatted about so many things that it is hard to pick one…
One of my best memories was us talking about stuff out of the game. He was involved with trucking… And fairly recently he had shared with me a tale about having to run a truck full of potatoes from one location, to a factory, to have them mashed, and then hauled the now mashed potatoes back to the same city to have them processed further, presumably into a mashed potato product of some sort. The incredulous tone to his voice had me in stitches as he described the waste of trucking potatoes to one place, just to bring them back afterwards.
One of my regrets is never having made it to Canada. To one who passed on way before his time, I shall not forget. You made your mark in the memories of those who knew you.
